In 2005, I swapped a chef’s hat for scrubs, initially as a funeral director and then as an embalmer with Nelson Bros., Footscray. I then co-founded Tribute Funeral Services in 2012. In 2022, I decided to strike out on my own as a trade embalmer, in order to deliver the best possible service to a diverse range of clients.

I hold a Certificate IV in Funeral Services (Embalming) from Mortuary and Funeral Educators and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment from Federation University. I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Embalming, a current member and a former Vice Chair of the British Institute of Embalmers Australian Division. I recently became a member of the Australasian Institute of Anatomical Sciences.

I am a long-term SES volunteer and Unit Trainer, and my hobbies include bonsai, pottery, getting to the gym, and (of course) cooking.
