In 2005, I swapped chef’s hat for scrubs, getting my start as a funeral director and embalmer with Nelson Bros. in Footscray. I co-founded Tribute Funeral Services in 2012. And, in 2022, decided to strike out on my own as a trade embalmer.

I hold a Certificate IV in Funeral Services (Embalming) from Mortuary and Funeral Educators, am a member of the Australian Institute of Embalming, and am a current member and former vice-chair of the British Institute of Embalmers.

I have two amazing teenage sons and live in regional Victoria. I’m a long-term SES volunteer, love bonsai, getting into the gym, and (of course) cooking.
